Based on Pastor Geno's message "Growing in Self-Awareness" on Sunday, July 9th, he invited the audience to increase their own personal self-awareness through a specific exercise. Pastor Geno challenged everyone to send an email to a few trusted colleagues, friends, and/or family members, asking them direct questions with the goal of becoming more self-aware. See a draft of this email below. But if you'd like to quickly send this email to people, click here. This is a completely optional exercise. Feel free to use it in its entirety or revise based on your own goals.

Hello,
Hope you’re doing well. Would you take a few moments to help me with a self-awareness exercise? I’m sending this short list of questions to folks that I trust to help me understand how I impact the world around me. I trust you to be as honest as possible so that your input can do the most good. Would you answer the questions below and send them to me as soon as you can? I completely understand if you don’t have the time to do this. Thank you!
1. What is a person most likely to experience when they encounter me? (This a neutral question: the answer could be positive or constructively “negative.”)
2. What are the usual things you can count on from me? (This a neutral question: the answer could be positive or constructively “negative.”)
3. What are the things that you can seldom count on from me? (This a neutral question: the answer could be positive or constructively “negative.”)
4. Is there something about me that you think I don’t know yet? (This is a neutral question: the answer can be positive or constructively “negative.”)
5. Based on your interactions with me, what is the thing (or things) you think matters most to me? (This is a neutral question: the answer can be positive or constructively “negative.”)
