Our church has officially been invited to participate in “Plant the Gem” in Flossmoor. This event is anticipated to be one of Illinois’ largest, single-day volunteer-driven tree planting events. The goal is to plant up to 300 trees along Flossmoor’s parkways. Volunteers will be in teams of 4 or 5, so our goal is to mobilize two teams from the SSV. We a total of 8-10 volunteers to make that happen. Think we can do it?!
