WHAT TO EXPECT

Everyone is welcome at our services. You do not have to be a Christian or even know anything about church, and you won’t be forced to do anything you don’t want to do.

At a typical service, you can expect to come in and be welcomed by friendly faces offering you a great cup of coffee, hot tea, or water. If you have children, you can check out our exceptional Kids Ministry. We value children and provide a safe environment where they can learn about Jesus in a way that applies to their life.

Our service begins with 2 or 3 worship songs, which are sometimes followed by Communion. Next, we share a few brief announcements so the congregation can be up-to-date on current SSV happenings. One of our Lead Pastors (or a member of our extended Preaching Team) then gives a practical and relevant sermon rooted in God's Word - this normally lasts about 45 minutes. We usually sing one more worship song after the sermon. The service ends with ministry prayer, which is an opportunity for anyone to receive prayer for any reason. Members of our Ministry Prayer Team have been trained to pray with confidentiality and sensitivity. The entire service lasts about ninety minutes.

If you are not able to to join us in person, please watch our online service on Sunday mornings at 10:30am on Facebook
